Positive: An absolutely magical stay at Villa Rose I stayed at Villa Rose for three nights and absolutely adored every moment. This beautiful bamboo villa located on the banks of the river wok, was the perfect little slice of heaven — peaceful, private and surrounded by such a gorgeous, tranquil atmosphere. It was exactly what I needed. After busy days volunteering, I looked forward to coming home to the peace & serenity of Villa Rosebud and being greeted by the beautiful young girls neighbouring this stunning property. But what truly made my stay so special was Ellie, the host. She is one of the kindest, most gracious and genuinely thoughtful people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I mentioned that I was volunteering at an orphanage nearby, and Ellie incredibly generously donated children’s toys for me to take to the little ones. It was such a beautiful and unexpected gesture, and one that meant so much to me. Villa Rose isn’t just somewhere to stay — it feels like a little sanctuary, and Ellie’s warmth and generosity make it even more special. The local Indonesian staff were also such beautiful, kind , friendly helpful people, nothing was too much trouble for them. I left after three nights feeling completely relaxed, grateful and a little sad to say goodbye. I would 100% stay here again and couldn’t recommend Villa Rosebud highly enough to anyone looking for somewhere peaceful, beautiful and genuinely special in Celuk. Thank you, Ellie, for making my stay so memorable. ❤️
