Villa il Padronale is located in the heart of the central Italy, immersed in the green of the Tuscan landscape, just 3 km far from Cortona, a beautiful village of Etruscan origin rich in charm and history. The villa, currently renovated, is located within a 2.5 hectares large park (of which 1 hectare is fenced by an entrance gate) full of various species of flowers and plants, with large well cured in every minimum detail outdoor spaces and ancient trees whose natural shade creates perfect relaxation areas. The garden was part of an ancient 17th century arboretum, whose the oldest trees are over 300 years old. It keeps the original elements that have characterized its history over the centuries and which have been wisely preserved during the renovation.
The central tower of Il Padronale dates from the 15th century. It was built to help protect the Tuscan state from the aggression of it's papapl state neighbour, Umbria. Only in the 1600’s the Tommasi family added two wings on the left and right gggto this central tower one of the most historic and important families in Tuscany whose exponent in the 1771 became Grand Master of the Knights of Malta. In the structure we find other testimonies of the passages it has had over the years: a magnificent ceramic plaque depicting the Madonna of the seven sorrows tells us that here seven young people established the Order of the Servants and that Monsignor Paolino Tribbioli was born here, an important Catholic priest who left indelible footprints as a missionary Capuchin in India and later became Bishop of Imola.
The history of this magnificent property is written in its walls: every figure in its passage has left evidence that time has never erased and that the current owner has kept and brought to light and to the vision of the guests who will stay in the property. A cellar probably from the 16th century unearthed which, together with the tunnel leading to it, remained unknown for over 200 year and discovered only with the renovatio.
The villa has been classified as Grade A which is the highest grade in the historical listing and as such is of important Historical Significance.
Villa Il Padronale lies on natural terraces: on the first upper one, the villa sets with a parking lot, a family vegetable garden and an area where you can enjoy your alfresco meals thanks to a beautiful patio with a large dining table as well as a barbecue and a wood oven. In the second terrace the pool area lies: the swimming pool (16x5 meters, fixed height 1.45 meters, open from 01 May to 31 October) is perfectly exposed to the sun throughout the day and is complete with deck chairs, shading pergola and outdoor shower. The swimming pool offers spectacular views over the valley and is perfect for long and rejuvenating swims.

The Villa is rich in international influences: the current owners are travelers and live between East and West, bringing with them a wealth of culture and experiences that have given life to this unique place.
The villa is large and spacious (240 sqm) and develops into two levels connected to each other by a beautiful internal staircase and a third level where the last bedroom is located.
It is characterized by bright rooms and clean and essential lines at the base of which we find the tradition of the ancient ceilings with exposed wooden beams and floors where the original clay and marble tiles persist.
On the ground floor we find the whole living area consisting of a large living room with sofas and an original 16th century fireplace and a dining room continues through a hallway to the kitchen: here you will find everything you need to cook your favorites in one space large and functional. The whole ground floor has beautiful French doors that offer beautiful views of the garden and the surrounding landscape. The ground floor is completed by a service toilet and a laundry room.
Going up the stairs we are on the first level where we have the sleeping area consisting of 3 double bedrooms and three bathrooms, all private in the room (2 with shower and 1 with bathtub). The last level of the property houses the fourth bedroom, also with private bathrooms. Each room is full of personality and enjoys light and countryside views. The bathrooms are all large and modern, characterized by travertine tiles.
