Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The lodging is a large apartment forming part of a larger farmhouse. The hosts were extremely courteous and helpful and tended to our every need during our stay. It's also very central while at the same time being located in a very tranquil area amongst the vast olive groves. We were there over new year and found the place heated upon our arrival. For warmer days, the apartment includes a large terrace to enjoy your evenings on. The place includes a kitchen where the hosts do provide the essentials (and a little more than that) and there's no oven but we didn't miss it :) Getting into town was a quick drive and exploring the beautiful surroundings with a treasure trove of must-see towns in the area (not to mention the food!!), the place was certainly the favourite from the 6 places we stayed at during our trip and we also found out that they press their own olive oil on site which is excellent!

Negative: The only thing which bothered us a little bit were the lights which flickered. We brought this to the attention of the owners and they mentioned that it was an issue with the supply in the area so it's not their fault and we did get used to it after a while.

Summary: great place with a balance between independent living and feeling pampered at the same time
