Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The house was in a great location with stunning views. It had 4 big bedrooms all ensuite, which was really helpful for a group with kids. The host left out a travel cot, high chair and a array of toys for the kids which was much appreciated.

Negative: The house appeared to be left empty for a while. On arrival, the smell was overwhelming. We had to open every window and door to air out the house. Very damp and musty and unfortunately the same with all the kitchen cupboards. The floors and counters were dirty with a lot of dead insects. We spent the first hour cleaning the floors and washing the dishes to be able to use. This really put a dampener at the start of our weekend. We were a group of 8, and there were only 4 chairs in the kitchen, which was not ideal for breakfasts together. We took in a table and chairs we found outside to use instead.

Summary: Lovely House in a great Location, needs a really good clean.
