Summary: The room we had booked wasn't a superior double but after we spoke to the manager we were moved to another room. It has recently been renovated but has been done quickly which shows. The bar downstairs was noisy until closing time so if you want an early night it's not ideal. Floors were very creaky but it's a very old building. Breakfast over the road at the Green Dragon was lovely but the eating window is only an hour, 8:30 - 9:30 and you have to pre order what you want.
