Summary: The views of the Piton are phenomenal, it’ beautiful. The house is cute and has the essentials you would need like towels. However, the reviews listed on the property didn’t emphasize on a lot of what I experienced. 1st, no amount of bug spray will help,you will be bit. You are essentially sleeping outside. The bugs are LOUD, it’s as if they’re screaming in your ear. We used ear plugs on the last day of our stay and it helped. The beds are very uncomfortable. 2ndly, we are pretty certain we had an animal, maybe a possum? (We know it had a tail bc we saw it briefly) in one of the rooms next door that was constantly knocking or scratching throughout the night. It would move around the house so some nights weren’t as terrifying to sleep through as others. 3rd, we were never told in advance that someone would be stopping by for maintenance for the pool, which was fine, but then another person showed up for a cooler? So we had no idea who was coming in and out of the house, whether we were there or not. In addition, the key lock stopped locking on a Tuesday and they didn’t send someone out until Friday. 4th, the private chauffeur is extremely expensive, I would not recommend that service. For the hassle we experienced, you’re better off at a resort.
