Summary: We stayed for 2 nights to look at the area due to our daughter relocating for work. The hotel was a bit dated, it was clean, en-suite with a bath, bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee in the rooms. Breakfast was lovely. In the pub attached to the hotel. There was a good band on the Saturday night. Parking was in a car park opposite, we didn’t have to pay due to the times we were there. There was plenty of space. There was a lovely Indian restaurant next door. A Greene King Pub opposite. ASDA was across the road. Close to the main road to get to Southend, Leigh on Sea and train station (40 minutes into London). A quiet area but if you are exploring it is a great base. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay again.
