Spacious yet cozy classic Maine coastal cottage built in 1912 with views of the water. Adjacent to all of the features of Castine, the house is a 2 minute walk to the shorefront, 5 minute walk to forest preserve and lighthouse and 5 minute bike ride to town. Hear the harbor bell at the entrance to Castine harbor.
On the first floor, there is a beamed living room with original architectural details, dining room, kitchen with adjacent eating area, powder room, laundry room and a den/office/tv room, bathroom (shower, no tub) and a large sun porch.
The second floor has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a balcony facing Penobscot Bay and bathroom (shower and tub); a second large bedroom has a bathroom with a claw foot tub (no shower).
