Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Large airy room. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is in the "new" part of Bilbao and very close to the old town. All in walking distance of hotel. Old town best for authentic bars and food.

Negative: No kettle or cups, but reception gave us theirs for our stay. No iron or ironing board. Bar was closed most of Sunday. The bar lacked any atmosphere. The patio was a white everything from tiles to furniture and shades. A few pot plants would have softened it. Functional hotel rather than comfort and style. Not cheap and not 4*
