Summary: We were meeting friends for dinner in the Federal Hill area and thought we’d try this new hotel. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The space was more like a small condo. Which is nice. Despite the new construction there are no USB ports. Most hotels these days have ports built into the nightstands or lamps. So be sure to bring a charging block. Location is a bit remote. There is really only Sagamour distillery and Under Armour headquarters within walking distance. Parking is not great.There were no spots available at the small outdoor lot across the street that is shared with the distillery. We ended up at a garage a couple blocks away on the 3rd level. After checking out we noticed most cars parked on the street received parking tickets.So be aware. The website says they try to accommodate late check-out. At check-in we asked about an extra hour and were told to call the front desk Sunday morning. I called and was told it was not possible. When we left the room at 11am there was no housekeeping visible. Seems like an extra half hour would not have been a problem. Not sure why we got a hard no. Otherwise staff was friendly. Bottom line, if you plan to tour Sagamore Distillery or Under Armour, or if you need a washer dryer for your stay, then this hotel is fine. However if you plan to tour the city I’d recommend one of the many hotels downtown.
