Positive: The room had enough space for a group of 3 adults. One king-size bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom is decent. The kitchen has a fridge, an electric stove top, and an electric kettle. There is enough kitchenware to cook a decent meal. There is a washing machine, which is a great addition to the room. The AC was up and running. The pool facilities are amazing. You get a great view as the property is on a hilltop, and it is very well-maintained. The host was responsive and helpful. The location is within walking distance of Karon Beach and very close to Kata Beach and the night market. If you wish to go to Patang or Bangla St, there is a 20-30 minute drive depending on traffic.
Negative: There is no elevator, which is typical of many buildings in that area, so if you have heavy luggage, you will have to carry it up the stairs to the 2nd floor. The sofa bed is as comfortable a sofa bed can get—enough for one adult or maybe two children.
