Positive: The lodge itself is beautifully situated in a stunning and highly scenic location. The drive through the park to reach it was a wonderful experience, offering plenty of opportunities to observe wildlife along the way. Overall, the layout of the lodge and its intimate atmosphere worked very much in its favour, creating a unique and enjoyable experience despite some of the areas that could be improved.
Negative: The hotel offers a luxurious stay; however, it appeared to be significantly understaffed. For example, the chef was carrying guests' luggage to the tents, and there were long waiting times for almost everything. For a higher-end lodge, I would also say that the tents were rather basic in terms of amenities. For instance, there was no coffee or tea-making facility available. Additionally, some parts of the tents were in need of repair and refurbishment. The food was tasty, but the selection was quite limited, so there is definitely room for improvement in this area as well.
Summary: Beautiful surroundings, but overpriced for the service provided.
