Positive: What a hidden gem, beautiful place, quiet, and lovingly renovated. Easy walking distance to the Cathedral and the centre of town, private courtyard parking a plus. We had the Garden Suite, stunning, great shower, small kitchen and views of the fabulous garden. Check in instructions perfect, easy to access and thanks also for the recommendations. We will be back!

Negative: That we were only staying one night! One thing to bear in mind is the access to the courtyard if you are bringing a vehicle, Chartres is old and streets are narrow. Our VW Transporter was ok, anything bigger would probably be a challenge. Not a negative but something to be aware of.
