Positive: This was our first time visiting Sardinia, so we booked a bit "blindly," but we were so happy with our 5-night stay at Lu Hotel Maladroxia! The location is a major plus, it is incredibly close to the beach, and the sea is absolutely amazing. While you do have to pay extra if you want a beach umbrella and two sunbeds, it is 100% worth it. Plus, having clean toilets and showers close by on the beach is a huge convenience. The hotel's swimming pool is great, and the breakfast was truly amazing with plenty of options. We had a wonderful introduction to Sant’Antioco. Ps: A big thank you to Giada and Marco for advising us on different places to visit! 🏝️

Negative: We booked a garden view room through Booking.com, but when we arrived, the only available room was facing the parking lot with no balcony. You couldn't keep the curtains open because everyone could see inside, which wasn't ideal traveling with two kids and having beach items to dry. However, we spoke with Marco and his colleague, and they found a solution for us. For the following nights, we were moved to a very nice room and absolutely loved our stay! Tip for families: If you travel with kids, we highly advise booking half-board. Eating at the hotel restaurant or the surrounding restaurants can get very expensive; though this is true for all of Sardinia, not just this hotel!
