Positive: We stayed at Les Volets Violets on the second day of our cycle tour and it was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The house is absolutely beautiful, with wonderful décor and so much character. We especially loved the collection of old technology and memorabilia throughout the property – it felt like exploring a fascinating little museum and gave the place a unique charm. After a long day of cycling, the hospitality we received was exceptional. Our bikes were stored securely, and the host very kindly washed our cycling kit, which was hugely appreciated and above and beyond what we expected. Knowing that the following day was forecast to be very hot, our host even prepared an early breakfast so that we could get on the road before the heat built up. It was such a thoughtful gesture and perfectly summed up the care and attention we experienced throughout our stay. Les Volets Violets is much more than just a place to stay – it’s a place where you feel genuinely looked after. We left refreshed, grateful, and wishing we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended, especially for anyone travelling by bike.
