Positive: The hosts Maria and Enzo were very welcoming. We came by train and they collected us from the station and dropped us off after our stay. We were grateful and they are happy to offer this service. The apartment is spacious, spotless, and well equipped, and breakfast food and lots of snacks are provided, plus a fridge stocked with milk, water, and juice. There is a big supermarket and good pizzeria about 10 minutes walk away but some of it on the busy road. Enzo and Maria kindly stopped so we could buy groceries on the way from the station . When the Palace is open, this would take up a day, but we visited the Belvedere and silk factory in San Leucio, which are worth it, and also looked at the town. We recommend the apartment and the owners very much.
Negative: Only that it's hard with no car as the roads are full, there are no sidewalks, and the drivers do not seem pedestrian friendly.
