Everglade Holiday Home is a cosy seaside retreat situated on 5* Hoburne Park in Christchurch, Dorset, nestled between The New Forest & the spectacular Dorset Coast.
Our beautiful 5 year old, 2 bedroom static caravan, sleeping 4 guests plus one infant, is a perfect retreat for couples, families, or working professionals who are looking for a break. It has private decking & comes with all the comforts of home including private unlimited Wi-Fi, all the basic amenities and much more. Situated just a 10min walk from the beach, Everglade is the perfect holiday getaway.
With a subtle seaside feel, and just five years old, Everglade is a modern & well looked after static caravan. It has a generously sized light & airy living space & dining area, well equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (king size main bedroom with en-suite toilet & a twin room), a bathroom with a large shower & private decking on the outside.
The caravan sleeps 4 people comfortably, and is ideal for a family, but we can accommodate an extra infant under three years old who can sleep in a travel cot if necessary. Please message us to discuss requirements for an extra infant before you book.
It is not suitable for 4 single adults.
The decking area is secured with a lockable gate to keep in any active toddlers and access to the van is up three small steps. Two car parks are located close by for convenience.
The kitchen is well-equipped with the usual, including a kettle, microwave, toaster, excellent oven & hob & various knick-knacks to make this a real home away from home. Complimentary tea, coffee & sugar, basic kitchen essentials such as oil, salt and pepper, vinegar, basic cleaning and washing up products, antibacterial hand wash and hand sanitiser are also provided along with a little gift from us to welcome you to Dorset!
We provide all bedding & bed linen for your stay along with bath mats, hand towels and tea towels. You must bring your own TOWELS. A hair dryer, iron and ironing board are also provided.
The caravan has full electric central heating and there is an electric fire in the lounge with a lovely flame effect to make those nights even more cosy. A fan is also provided to cool down those balmy summer days.
There is a television in both the lounge and main bedroom and iPlayer, Netflix and You Tube can be accessed on the television in the lounge if you wish to log into them.
The park has free Wi-Fi throughout but the caravan has its own private unlimited Wi-Fi to make streaming and surfing during busy times a breeze.
There is also a lockable storage unit outside the caravan which is large enough to store a folded buggy, wheelchair or bike.
Travel cot, toddler bed side & highchair available on request. (No bedding provided for the travel cot).
We regret that the accommodation is strictly NO PETS and NO SMOKING or VAPING. Hoburne Park does not permit groups of single sex parties of more than 3, stag or hen parties.

THE RESORT
Hoburne Park is a 5* resort and excellent for all the family. It is located in Christchurch, close to Bournemouth and the main resort facilities include entertainment, an indoor pool and outdoor pool (May-Sept), sauna, steam room, gym, pool table, arcade, indoor soft play, outdoor playground areas, mini golf, tennis court, laundry facilities, cafe bar & restaurant.
PARK PASSES
All facilities with the exception of the restaurant require park passes and cost £50 for up to 7 nights, or a 1 day pass is available at a cost of £25 (Prices set by Hoburne). This cost covers all guests staying in the caravan. We regret we cannot add extra passes for people who are not staying in the caravan. Passes must be requested and paid for through us in advance of your stay.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE:
PASSES ARE NOT COMPULSORY, you are very welcome to stay in the caravan without them but you won’t be able to access most of the site facilities at Hoburne Park.
LOCATION
We are truly blessed to live in such a wonderful area and having now lived here for almost three years with our young family, we have got to know the area rather well. An informative book with lots of local information is provided in the caravan to help make your stay as great as it can be.
We are blessed to have a huge amount of outdoor space. Beautiful Nea Meadows Nature Reserve is just a ten minute walk from the site, and sandy Avon Beach, Mudeford Quay, Highcliffe Castle & Steamer Point are all on the doorstep.
Highcliffe Village is just 5 minutes drive, with a great local butcher and bakery, convenience stores, lovely cafes and another great beach for exploring.
The Lord Bute, The Oaks (Brasserie Blanc), The Globe, The Noisy Lobster, The Cliffhanger and The Cliff House are all great places to eat in the local area and some with stunning views over the coastline.
The centre of Christchurch is just a 10 minute drive in the other direction, where you will find plenty of shops, great pubs and restaurants and the picturesque Christchurch Priory and Quay which also has a fantastic children's playground and seasonal outdoor splash park.
Bournemouth, Poole, Southampton, The Isle of Purbeck, Lymington (for the Isle of Wight), Moors Valley Country Park, The New Forest National Park & Paultons Park (Peppa Pig World) are all a short drive away.
There are plenty of cycling opportunities locally and a HUGE amount of walks!!

Road: Christchurch is approximately two hours in a car from London or three hours from The Midlands (traffic dependant!).
Rail: The closest train station is Hinton Admiral (5mins). Christchurch (10 mins), New Milton (15 mins) & Bournemouth (20 mins) are also close by. Trains run to and from London Waterloo taking approximately two hours or Bournemouth is connected to the Midlands and North of England via the Cross Country service with direct services to Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke, Reading, Birmingham & Manchester Piccadilly.
Airports: Bournemouth Airport (20 mins), Southampton Airport (40 mins), London Heathrow (1hr 45mins), London Gatwick Airport (2hrs).
