Positive: We didn't eat breakfast. We liked our room with an excellent view of a pond. We loved the whirlpool. It was very peaceful and quiet in our room. When we needed help with our whirlpool the staff came promptly to assist us. We enjoyed their signature complimentary chocolate chip cookies. The location of the hotel was excellent, which was within walking distance of many restaurants, a movie theater a grocery store, and a bank.
Negative: I didn't like that the elevator smelled like marijuana. I'm not sure if anything can be done about that since the use of marijuana is legal in Minnesota. I didn't like that the breakfast was $21 dollars but I didn't go see what that included.
Summary: We were very pleased with our stay at the Double Tree. It met our expectations.
