Summary: Located close to the beautiful Southern coastline, this superb small hotel is a perfect central location for a trip. Many scenic paths are at a walkable distance (5 km to 10 km of moderate difficulty will allow you to see many beautiful sights.) Roy and Jayne are the consummate hosts. They help coordinate your arrival in advance, since the location is a bit remote. They cook an excellent breakfast, and take a keen interest in your plans for your stay. They offer sound advice (invaluable if you haven’t researched carefully), and Roy provides a packet of information with hints, hiking or driving itineraries, and a weather report, all presented each morning based on your previous day’s discussions and experiences. They really do provide you with more than adequate assistance to ensure that your visit is rewarding. I would definitely stay with them again, and recommend them wholeheartedly to other travelers.
