This is an older rustic farm house located right next door to Andes Tower Hills Ski Resort & Campground where you are able to see the ski runs from the front porch. This is a working farm on 35 acres in Kensington MN with the data trail running along the property for snowmobiles. This is a great location surrounded by area lakes such as Lake Oscar and Red Rock Lake, hunting wildlifes, and the Kensington Runestone Park 5.2 miles away. The rental property only consists of the main floor of the house, the out buildings are prohibited due to farming. There are outside security cameras for safety and protection.
The layout consist of:
1 bedroom - queen size bed
Livingroom - 2 full size sofa beds with pillows & blankets, electric fireplace, 43 inch TV, Roku, DVD player
Kitchen - refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, hotplate burners, Kuerig coffee maker, toaster, dishes, Crockpot and other basic cooking essentials
Bathroom - sink with vanity mirror, shower, toilet, towels, washer & dryer
Each room has it's own electric baseboard heater with it's own adjustable thermostat to personalize room temperature.

Summary: My parents, my husband, son and I stayed at this farmhouse for two nights while we explored the area around Kensington where my parents grew up in the 1930's. The location is super beautiful and peaceful. We loved watching the birds feed, the deer, and all of the flowers and trees. The quiet was spectacular. We also saw sandhill cranes, trumpeter swans and other wildlife. The house was so clean and had everything we could want. The kitchen was so well stocked with dishes and other amenities. There was great thoughtfulness for the guests. Beds were very comfortable. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again if we come back to this area!
