Positive: Private. Beautiful view of the tidal marsh. Wild turkeys in the backyard. Convenient. Nice accommodations. Good family spaces. The house itself was a really nice place to stay, but there were a lot of deferred maintenance and housekeeping issues.
Negative: Advertised as 5 bedrooms when there were 4. My adult son slept on a couch in the basement. Not what I expected. Multiple air conditioning units did not work at all. I spent several hours on different occasions with repairmen working on the units and installing portable units. Two bedrooms did not have air conditioning during our entire stay except that portable units were set up in these two bedrooms. The owner seemed to be responsive. Of the three bathrooms, one had no toilet paper, one had almost no paper left. There were no extra toilet rolls available, so we had to immediately go out and buy toilet paper. Light bulbs were burned out. Two cracked glass wine glasses. Pans are disgusting. There were other non-functional items that needed to be fixed. I have family who live internationally, and have rented vacation spaces around the world on numerous occasions, so I am trying to give honest feedback that maybe should not be published but should go to the owner.
Summary: The house is really nice. Very spacious. Great spot. Should be advertised as four bedrooms, not five. Not being well
