Summary: The property was very nice and well kept. Unfortunately the pool was freezing and stall unusable (unless you were a lap swimmer or racer). The grounds were beautiful. On the negative side, the were rude and acted as though you were a bother. We purchased some bread, cheese, fruit, and wine at a local shop to enjoy a French country afternoon experience on the lawn and were told we could pinky consume that in our rooms. I guess the >€450 per night was not enough revenue for the hotel?
