Positive: Derick, the caretaker/guard was extremely kind and helpful. He even arranged transport for me to the airport when Uber did not accept the ride. The staff and guard service are truly top quality. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, with the basics needed for resting. The caretaker/receptionist was also very kind and attentive.

Negative: Important note: My comments are only about the structural security of the apartments (doors, handles, locks). The staff and guards provided top-quality service. I did not sleep well because I did not feel safe. The apartment is comfortable in terms of equipment, but it does not offer a real sense of security. Even though I asked the caretaker for a padlock for the door that felt most at risk, in reality I would have needed many additional padlocks. The security of the doors is something the owners must review, so that guests do not sleep exposed. It is not fair to transfer all responsibility for safety in such a dark and isolated compound only to the guards, when the living units themselves should also provide proper security. If you don’t have a car and plan to go to the airport, it is better to stay in a zone where Uber accepts rides. There is a false sense of closeness to the airport, because when the time comes to request an Uber, no driver accepts, and you lose valuable time. The location is far from the city center but close to the airport. However, the compound is on an unpaved street. As soon as you leave the main avenue and enter the side road, it feels unsafe and abandoned. Even though it is near the airport, the entrance makes it feel isolated. At night the area is very dark, with little lighting, which makes it feel unsafe and difficult for the guards to do their job. Walking is not possible; you must have a vehicle. There is nothing nearby. It is only a stopover place. Inside the apartment, security was not enough. The main door lock was very basic and could be opened easily. The balcony doors in the living room and kitchen had no locks or latches. The glass could be broken and the doors opened without difficulty. Nobody entered during my stay, but it felt like it could happen easily by bad luck because of the weak locks and doors. I read many very positive reviews, but none mention the security issue.
