Summary: We spent a week in Claudia’s apartment. It is very clean, spaceous and astonishingly cool despite the French windows (with mosquito nets 😁) and even without using the air conditioning (mid September, 29 C). Claudia was very a helpful, responsive and obliging host. We had one minor issue, which she took care of immediately and fixed it the very same day. The house is at the beginning of the old town, so you can step out and dive into the small and twisting alleyways right away. We didn’t have to rent a car at all as everything is well within walking distance (port, bike rental). The bus stop is just one minute away. (We even went to Palermo by bus.) I can only recommend this place!
