Positive: The apartment is one of 3 in the building - one is owned by the lovely Daria and the second and third are available to rent. The apartment was modern, impeccably clean and very comfortable. There is a wonderful pool which is shared between the two rented apartments, but we always had it to ourselves. The outdoor area is also kept to the highest standard. The views from the apartment are incredible. You can easily drive to nearby secluded beaches and to boats to take you to beautiful islands. We also crossed the border to Bosnia to go to some waterfalls which was wonderful. Daria was very sweet bringing us homemade food on our arrival, homegrown figs, gifts for the kids and was always available to help us with whatever we needed. Croatia is breathtakingly beautiful and we had a wonderful trip! We can't wait to return.
Negative: It was very hot when we were there, so it was hard to walk up the small hill to the apartment (~15 mins) with our young kids, so a car is a must and for driving around Croatia. A plug in and candle for mosquitoes is necessary.
