Positive: I really cannot overstate how lovely this home, and especially its hosts, are! My parents (in their 60s) and I booked the apartment for two weeks in early November, and we weren't really sure what to expect, but from the moment we stepped foot on the property, we loved it. For one thing, the landscape is absolutely gorgeous - mountains and vineyards and castles surround the property, located right outside of the adorable tiny town of Salorno. (The nearby city of Trento is also gorgeous and easy to reach from here, as is its train station, which gave us easy access to Verona, Venice, and Innsbruck.) The apartment itself is very comfortable and modern, with consistently hot water and a washing machine, while still feeling like a cozy mountain chalet. But far and away the best part of staying here was getting to spend time with its hosts, Heidi and Claudio, and their son Thomas. They were absolutely wonderful!! So so kind and friendly and generous, while also being very respectful of our privacy and letting us come and go uninterrupted as we pleased. When we arrived, they invited us inside and gave us some of their delicious homemade wine and apple pastries, and on another day they even invited us to their apple orchard and vineyard, and gave us an awesome personal tour. They even let us help pick apples! That was probably our favorite thing that we did during our entire vacation in Italy. As if that wasn't enough, we would often find fresh apples at our doorstep after coming back from a day of exploring (and their apples are amazing!!) Heidi, Claudio and Thomas were always so informative and such a pleasure to talk to, and went out of their way so many times to make our stay more comfortable. They even gave us free tickets to the local train, and took the time in person to write us a list of places to visit! We really cannot say enough good things about them. So hopefully it's pretty obvious by now that we highly, highly recommend staying here!! :)
