Summary: The Good: Amazing location, plentiful parking (a true rarity in Carmel), and very clean. Beds are comfortable and towels are nicer than average. The Bad: The property desperately needs a remodel. There is little soundproofing; the sliding door to the balcony is almost impossible to move; the carpet is worn thin and in places I stepped on a tack strip. There is a small fridge but no microwave. The shower head needs replacing. The property still uses physical keys, and there is no chain or safety lock, just a deadbolt that can also be opened from the outside. It could be so much better, and for the price they're charging it should be.
