This beautiful retreat is located just minutes from the town of Montrose, Colorado. Open the patio doors and step onto the deck to enjoy the sight and sounds of the Uncompahgre River flowing through the acreage. Your southern views of the San Juan mountains are stunning! There is also a stream on the property that leads to a pond. Don’t mind the deer that live in the adjoining thicket, they love the apples from our tree as much as we do.
On the main floor is the heart of the house, a gathering space which includes an open plan kitchen, living room, dining areas and a game table. Be sure to light the fire. Sit back and relax.
Adjacent to the gathering area is the library with a queen size sleeper sofa and the ensuite master bedroom with a king size bed and a queen size sleeper sofa. The two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has full-size bunk beds. The home is set up to comfortably sleep 12 people.
Across a breezeway is an apartment above the garage. You will find a fully stocked kitchen, a comfortable living room which has a queen size pull-out couch. Off of the living room is a gorgeous deck with amazing views! The apartment also has one bedroom with a queen size bed, and a full bathroom with stand-up shower.
You will have access to the entire home, the apartment above the garage, and gorgeous porch and backyard--there is also river access!
Located just minutes from town, but you'll feel like you're in the middle of the mountains!
