Summary: Check in for the apartment was at The Lisbon Wine Hotel next door. We were able to leave our luggage until we could gain access as we had arrived early. Staff at the hotel (both reception and bar staff) were really friendly and helpful and we were even offered a complimentary check-in wine/beer which was a lovely touch. Great apartment and super location right in the heart of the city. Although we were initially concerned about noise, we needn't have worried as both windows had great wooden shutters which also provided a completely dark room for sleeping. Beautifully clean, very comfortable and well equipped - highly recommended. We can also recommend food at the hotel - great breakfast and dinner on two evenings despite there being plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby.
