Prepare to be amazed at the pirate details in this studio. World map, treasure map, rum barrels, Jack Sparrow's hat, crow’s nest, and dead man’s chest are only some of the things that will surely leave you out of breath!

Your private, spacious studio features a private bathroom with a shower, a queen bed, refrigerator and microwave, a Flat-screen TV dining table, and large, bright windows.
~Yours only, the private pirate studio is equipped with a queen-size bed,flat-screen TV, and AC. The rum barrels are used as your nightstand and desk, and there is a giant treasure chest where you can store your things. The studio contains great and interesting details: little monkeys, a dead man’s wardrobe, a hidden map, and even the Caribbean sand dust in one of the jars. Unfortunately, there is no full kitchen, but the studio has a microwave, refrigerator, and a coffee maker~ all the supplies on the house! You will also have your private bathroom with everything you need to be provided: a fresh set of towels, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, and linens.
~ There is also an outside patio where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or enjoy the nice breeze while the sun goes down.
You'll have access to everything you need for your stay. Your private studio apartment is just for you. The condo was just as great functionally as it was visually. Clean space and great amenities are available.
The apartment building is the perfect location - you can walk to Gaslamp Quarter and Balboa Park.

Cortez Hill is located south of Bankers' Hill, north of the Core District, east of Little Italy, and west of Balboa Park. Named after the historic El Cortez Hotel, this district is one of San Diego's oldest residential neighborhoods. Cortez Hill is truly incredible.
The Cortez Hill Neighborhood has a great community feel, and although it is located in Downtown of San Diego, it feels like a cozy urban neighborhood. Because Residential buildings occupy the majority of Cortez Hill, it doesn’t have the commercial feel of many other downtown areas.
The immediate 2 blocks are also super convenient. There's an amazing coffee shop, Achilles, a dry cleaning place, a yoga studio (Thursday walk-ins right now for $5 at 9 am), and a quickie mart that has all sorts of "oops, I forgot" travel items, beverages, wine/beer, frozen food, some produce, and small snacks.

- There are rentable bikes and scooters EVERYWHERE in popular San Diego areas now - via an app called LIME Bikes, Ofo, Bird. You can ride them and leave them anywhere. Lots of tourists and locals are using them - they just arrived!

~ Street parking is available. Parking on the street is free from 6 pm-8 am Monday through Saturday and all day Sunday and holidays. The meter must be paid during the day. There is the option of the pay parking lot next door for $30/day.
(Note: travelers should be aware this location is downtown in the 8th largest US city. Be prepared for traffic, first responders' noise, etc., from time to time. Just like one can expect in any major city.)
