Villa Marielia is located on the traditional village of Koumi 15 km from the city of Rethymnon and 15 km from the famous beaches of southern Crete, in the prefecture of Rethymno, a newly built (2022) ground floor villa of 180 m² which extends to an area of 3km² with an impressive pool of 60m² total surface, which can comfortably accommodate up to seven people and promises idyllic holidays, with all amenities and Complete privacy to its guests. VILLA MARIELIA is an ideal choice for all of you who want the quiet of the countryside, but very close to all points of interest in the area.
VILLA MARIELIA is a three bedrooms and four bathrooms villa, fully functional and elegant designed to relax and rejuvenate you. Earthy colors combinations and comfort are the elements that stand out, creating to its guests a familiar feeling they are at their home. The first bedroom is equipped with a double bed measuring 1.60 by 2 m with its own balcony and bathroom with shower and washing machine, wardrobe, Smart TV and air conditioning. In the same style you will find another bedroom with a double bed 1.60 by 2m, private bathroom and balcony and of course closets, Smart tv and air conditioning.
The third bedroom is equipped with two single beds 1.40 by 2 m and also has a private bathroom, smart TV, closets and air conditioning.
The open plan space of the house includes the airy living room with comfortable sofas, to relax, sleep or, if you prefer, watch your favorite program on the 50-inch smart TV, a dining area to enjoy your food and the fully equipped kitchen, with hob, oven, large fridge, dishwasher and all the necessary small appliances and tools to prepare and serve your meals. The front balcony has an outdoor lounge to enjoy your coffee or drink overlooking the Cretan nature and the pool. The house also has a spacious front yard with dining area for endless hours of relaxation.

In the outdoor area of VILLA MARIELIA dominates the impressive pool of 60 m² total surface with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas, to enjoy the unique sun of Crete. There is also a fully functional barbecue and a large dining area to accommodate you and your family or friends. For our little friends we lovingly designed a playground for endless hours of play.
The house has ample parking and wifi in all indoor and outdoor areas.

Koumi is located just 15 km from the impressive city of Rethymnon and 15 km from the famous beaches of southern Crete, such as the beach of Plakias, Damnoni and others, it is the ideal villa at ideal location to explore the island. In a short distance, about 4 km, is the village of Armeni, where you can get everything you need during your vacation. And when you are there do not miss to visit the award-winning traditional tavern Alekos to taste authentic Cretan cuisine and feel the Cretan hospitality. There is also a small nice taverna near the villa in about 150m, taverna Markos. It is open every day from 8' a clock in the morning till 12' a clock in the evening serving breakfasts and traditional dinners.
The nearest airport in Chania is Ioannis Daskalakis Airport at a distance of 76 km. The whole surrounding area is suitable for hiking and exploration and you will be impressed by the many small churches, some of them built in caves.
