The upper part looks like a balcony on the hills that slope down into a valley below with a suggestive 180 ° panorama, a characteristic glimpse to admire, perhaps at sunset, enjoying a glass of wine by the pool.
The large courtyard overlooking the pool house is equipped with various seats suitable for resting, having a conversation or perhaps reading a good book.
The travertine and ceramic tiles swimming pool with larch wood platform, thanks to its elongated, rigorous and narrow shape, recalls the ancient pools where the farm animals used to drink. It is equipped with two hydromassage jets and salt water, and on request it can be heated with the payment of a daily supplement, thus allowing visitors to use the swimming pool even in the less hot periods.
Villa La Coccola is composed of two units: the pool house and the main farmhouse.
The pool house, converted from an old barn, is an open space space, where on the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen (large fridge with freezer, 5 burner stove, dishwasher, microwave, wine cellar, kettle, toaster, etc.) and in the mezzanine is a living room with satellite TV area. Guests can dine under the veranda of the pool house, right in front of the swimming pool, enjoying the atmosphere and beauty of the surrounding landscape.
On the ground floor of the main farmhouse there is a large open space lounge with living area (satellite TV), equipped kitchen (oven with freezer, hob with 5 burners, dishwasher) and dining area. Beyond the living room there is a passage room with a single sofa bed and a half bathroom. Also on the ground floor there is a laundry room with washer and dryer.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms with finely furnished double beds, both with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. The king-size beds can be converted into single beds. Thanks to the terrace, the rooms have direct access to the outside from the rear, to the side of the swimming pool, which can be reached by climbing a short flight of steps. The third bedroom is located in the tower in front of the farmyard, has private access and is also equipped with air conditioning and ensuite bathroom with shower.

Addossata ad un terreno terrazzato che ne determina la sua caratteristica principale, con una linea marcata di blocchi calcarei prospicenti all’area piscina e alla pool house, Villa La Coccola accoglie gli ospiti mostrandosi subito per quello che è….un bellissimo rifugio per chi cerca relax e tranquillità.
La parte superiore si affaccia come una balconata sulle colline che degradano in una valle sottostante con un suggestivo panorama a 180°, scorcio caratteristico da ammirare, magari al tramonto, gustando un calice di vino a bordo della piscina.
L'ampia aia prospiciente alla pool house è attrezzata con svariate sedute adatte a riposarsi facendo conversazione o magari leggendosi un buon libro.
La piscina in travertino e piastrelle in ceramica con pedana in legno di larice, grazie alla sua forma allungata, rigorosa e stretta, ricorda le antiche vasche dove si abbeveravano gli animali della fattoria. E’ dotata di due getti idromassaggio e di acqua salata, e su richiesta può essere riscaldata con pagamento di un supplemento giornaliero, permettendo così al visitare di usufruire della piscina anche nei periodi meno caldi (chiusa da Novembre a Marzo compresi).
Villa La Coccola è composta da due unità: la pool house e la colonica principale.
La pool house, ricavata da un antico fienile, è uno spazio open space, dove al pianterreno si trova una cucina completamente attrezzata (grande frigo con congelatore, piano cottura con 5 fuochi, lavastoviglie, forno a microonde, cantinetta per i vini, bollitore, tostapane, ecc.) e nel soppalco è un soggiorno con zona TV satellitare . Gli ospiti possono pasteggiare sotto la veranda della pool house, proprio davanti alla piscina, godendo dell’atmosfera e della bellezza del panorama circostante.
Al piano terra della colonica principale c’è un ampio salone open space con zona living (TV satellitare), cucina attrezzata (forno con freezer, piano cottura con 5 fuochi, lavastoviglie) e zona pranzo. Oltre il salone si trova una stanza di passaggio con un divano letto da una piazza e mezzo e un bagno di servizio. Sempre al pianterreno c’è un locale lavanderia con lavatrice e asciugatrice.
Al primo piano ci sono tre camere con letti matrimoniali finemente arredate, ognuna con un colore che la contraddistingue, tutte con bagno ensuite e dotate di aria condizionata. La master bedroom dispone di letto king-size e di una stanza di passaggio dove si trova un divano letto singolo, e può essere comodamente utilizzata come camera tripla. Anche la camera viola ha il letto king-size; in entrambi i casi il letto king-size è separabile e trasformabile in due letti doppi. Grazie al terrazzamento, le camere hanno accesso diretto all'esterno dal retro, al lato della piscina, raggiungibile salendo una breve rampa di scalini. Una quarta camera si trova nella torretta davanti all'aia, ha accesso privato ed è anch'essa dotata di aria condizionata e bagno con doccia ensuite.
Gli esterni sono abbelliti da fiori, cespugli, piante officinali e alberi.

All’ingresso, oltre il cancello automatico, gli ospiti troveranno un ampio parcheggio dove porre in sosta le auto raggiungendo la villa con una piacevole passeggiata.
La Coccola è inserita nel contesto del tipico paesaggio Toscano fatto di vigne, ulivete, cipressi, boschi, fattorie e borghetti.
Dalla villa si raggiunge in pochi minuti al centro della città di Poggibonsi, con negozi di ogni genere e due supermercati. Ci sono molteplici ristoranti dove poter cenare. Vale la pena una visita alle Fortezza Medicea di Poggio Imperiale, la più grande fatta costruire da Lorenzo il Magnifico, palcoscenico unico dal quale si gode una vista spettacolare sulle colline del Chianti.
Villa la Coccola è anche una ottima base logistica per poter visitare la Toscana messa com’è al centro della stessa.
In poco tempo si possono raggiungere S.Gimignano, Volterra, Siena , Firenze, Il Chianti, la Val D’Orcia, Pisa, Lucca e la costa, tutte le bellezze della Toscana a breve distanza.
