Summary: Genevieve and Jean-Marc, property owners, met my wife and I upon arrival to the rental. We had communicated via WhatsApp for pre-arrival coordination and had used a translation app to convert English to French as the owners speak little English (but more than our French!). The kitchen had everything needed for us to make spaghetti one night and baked pork chops another. There is a great supermarket 10 minutes away. The bathroom is small but fully functional and met all needs. We did not use the washer or dryer. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed having off-street parking directly in front of the entrance to the apartment. For clarity, the photos on VRBO of the craft room is Genevieve’s sewing/hobby area that is kept locked, this includes the front upper story balcony in some VRBO photos. The only minor negative was the rental unit’s average internet transfer rate was 2.96mbps compared to the 42mbps provided by my cell phone international calling plan, so I used my phone for most computing needs. The views of Lake Geneva at sunrise and sunset were awesome. We used the rental as a ‘hub’ to ‘spoke’ out from for day trips to Geneva and Montreux. Very quiet area. We would stay here again.
