Summary: A very well-presented, equipped and comfortable villa situated off the beaten track in a very quiet and remote rural location. About 10 mins drive to nearest town which is a beautiful with cafes and restaurants. Lots to explore further afield too! Villa is clean, well looked after and has everything you need for a super stay.Pool is a great size but would benefit from more umbrellas- 2 very small umbrellas provided but each do not shade a lounger. Very large grounds surround villa and make for spacious plot but be aware of rough terrain - not easily made use of (e.g children playing or strolling unless wearing robust shoes). Check-in and out of villa were least favourable aspect- check-in left our 2 children wary about the safety of the area based on advice about locking villa gates owing to stray dogs (which we did encounter driving local to villa) and possible car theft (no information given as to how real this threat is and whether the villa itself has ever suffered this). Check out felt pressured with Hazel arriving into property without knocking at 9:26am for 10am departure. Quirks of property to be aware of include limited hot water, and no bathroom door lock (key lock but no key provided). Were advised at check-in to avoid wearing nice or white clothes on outdoor sofas owing to stains possible from red ants- although we did not see any. Trulli is beautiful and located through separate front doors to the villa itself (contained bedroom suite).
