Private home designed and crafted by artisans using modern and antique materials. The private home is furnished for comfort. Guests are a little more than a mile away from the Main Street of Historic downtown Hendersonville and yet feel secluded within the two-acre wooded footprint of the home. Municipal parks flank the property with a pond/nature trail. Main Street is connected via a sidewalk. The home is located about 25 miles from Asheville, Pisgah National Forest, Brevard and DuPont State Forest. Sierra Nevada brewery is about 15 miles away, along with scores of local breweries, wineries, restaurants and speciality shops. The Biltmore House is about 25 miles away. If you like mountain laurel, rhododendron, mature canopy trees and morning birdsong, you’ll enjoy this setting. 3,100-foot mountain vista is 3 miles up to Jump Off Rock. Note: Just so there are no surprises at checkout, there is a $150 house cleaning fee applied to each stay. I personally pay an additional $30 to $50 per stay to complete the invoice. The same local service has cleaned the home for more than 25 years. These 3 women have raised their families through their hard work and enterprise.
