Summary: The person who constructed the sleeping quarters upstairs had no intimate knowledge of levels, squares, and perpendiculars. And if you have reached the age where an in-suite bath might be more of a necessity than a luxury, this might not be the place for you. However, this inn has character, and is frequented by characters. The innkeeper is a man of many hats, and with his loyal sidekick Joey everything gets done in good time. The food and drinks are good and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere of the place brought back pleasant memories of the warmth and friendliness of the Cornish people on a Market Jew Street that has remained unchanged for 50 years.
