Positive: It’s new and spacious, breakfast was nice but most options are chosen via ordering. Compared to other breakfast options in other 5 star hotels in Bangkok it’s ok but not magnificent. Room is nice and big and I can’t fault it at all, bed is comfortable. Daily nice hand written notes which was a great touch. Room service was very nice and food was delicious.

Negative: To get to your room is like a maze, go to the the lobby with one elevator and then another elevator to your room. It is quite a walk. Request for credit card for deposit is ok but they refused a euro deposit in cash and demanded a Thai baht deposit which seemed silly to exchange and left with the cash when I check out. Ordered laundry and asked if I want my clothes I have to pay, which is crazy because where am I going? I’m staying at your hotel:) When I arrived they had nice chocolates and three mandarins . 10 days later they didn’t add any fruit and left the mandarins to rot without changing them or adding any fresh fruit. Toilet paper of low quality for such a hotel. Overall it was a good stay, but not the standard of the e ritz I stayed in around the world, it needs some work to keep quests coming back.
