Custom 4000 sq/ft log cabin on 500 feet of premium lakeshore, 2 acres on beautiful Big Sauk Lake in Sauk Centre, MN. Only 100 miles from Minneapolis makes this the perfect getaway destination! Enjoy the lake, go fishing, relax by the bonfire, & visit local establishments, such as the Diamond Point Steakhouse (within walking distance), Saukinac campground & Birchwood Resort! A dock is available for use; the boat launch is 0.5 miles away. Pontoon rental is available from Birchwood Resort.
Open concept kitchen and dining room flow into the upstairs living room. Private master suite includes secluded deck, large walk-in closet, and full bathroom including a large shower with 5 spray heads. Den is also on the main level. Three bedrooms, living room, and game room on lower level with walkout to patio. A spiral staircase off the large main deck leads you to a spacious, private, and relatively flat yard. The lot has a dock for your boat, and plenty of toys for use including two kayaks, and paddleboards. Sauk Lake has over 2000 acres and is the perfect lake for recreation. Over 35 species of fish make this a perfect fishing lake.
Guests will have access to the entire home and garage. There are two cabinets and one HVAC/storage room that will be locked. The hot tub has been removed.
This property is excellent for hosting family reunions, retreats, get-togethers, etc. but we ask that all guests be respectful of our lake home and neighbors. Social parties are not permitted. We do not host weddings or bachelor/bachelorette parties. Guests must have at least one positive review on Airbnb to book our property. Note that we have neighbors to the north, which are not shown in the photographs.
