Summary: Overall the stay and the accommodations were nice. We understand the age of the hotel and it mainly appeared kept up. However, the bathroom in our room was disappointing. Not by amenities, but the shower tiles were mismatched, grout missing and a caulking job that was extremely amateur. Not what you’d expect from a very popular establishment as this. Although the restaurant is not the hotel, but part of it, I have to include it as well. The staff and portions were good. The food itself was a little bland and lacked flavor. It wasn’t just one dish, but both my wife’s and mine. Overall a cool stay, especially with the history.
