Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The bed was comfortable, the room lighting was good, the complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits were a nice touch. The location was 10 minutes from the railway station.

Negative: Room 218 was tired and had seen better days. There were two wooden screens acting as curtains. They are designed to slide and therefore shut out light. The right hand one was jammed and could not be shut. The only heating appeared to be a plug in electric heater.

Summary: Adequate for a one night stay.
