This cozy 2nd floor retreat is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring Chicago and historic Oak Park. Our decor features works by artist-in-residence Satish Prabhu, whose gallery and workspace is below. Sleep comfortably in buttery-soft linens, cook in our well-appointed kitchen, read and work in the sunroom or the dedicated workspace in our west bedroom. You will want to discover shops, cafes/restaurants, and scenery on foot, but parking for one included if needed.
You will enjoy the entire 2nd floor of a classic Chicago two-flat. The first floor of our building houses the studios of Satish Prabhu, our artist in residence and inspiration for our loft design. The second floor features three bedrooms and one bath, a spacious living/dining room, a large kitchen and sunroom; One free parking space in the rear of the building – please park on the left- hand side.
You don’t need a car to enjoy walkable Oak Park! The Chicago lakefront is just 9 miles away by Interstate 290, but if you prefer to relax and ride, the CTA and Metra elevated trains will get you downtown in minutes. Trains are a 5-block stroll or 1-minute ride down historic Marion Street with paid parking near the station.
