Situated on the edge of the beautiful village of Freshwater and close to Totland village this modern 4-bedroom 2-bathroom holiday townhouse can sleep up to 7 guests. The house is comfortably furnished throughout with kitchen/diner, lounge, king size bedroom with en-suite shower, large double bedroom with additional day bed, twin bedroom, single bedroom and family bathroom. The house also benefits from a fully enclosed sunny patio garden with furniture BBQ and parking for two cars at the front. EV car charging available on request.
Totland village is within walking distance as is also the village of Freshwater with a range of shops including, supermarkets, butchers, bakers and fishmonger chemists, pubs, restaurants, and takeaways. The village also has a doctors and a leisure centre which has an indoor swimming pool. If you don't want to use a car you can catch the local bus at the top of the road 2 minutes' walk (Number 7) to Yarmouth (Wightlink ferry), Alum Bay (The Needles) Newport or the Village of Freshwater.
Colwell Bay a sandy beach with attractive beach huts, beach shop, café, and bar, is a 10-15 minutes' walk from the house and is ideal for swimming. Colwell Bay also is the home of ‘The Hut' a beach hut style restaurant popular with locals and the sailing community renowned for using locally sourced ingredients. Totland Bay beach is also 10-15 minutes' walk which is a secluded cove which is excellent for swimming and Paddle boarding. If you like to walk you can pick up the Tennyson trial from Freshwater Bay and this will lead you to Tennyson monument which has stunning views and scenery, you can then continue to walk into Alum Bay famous for the Needles Lighthouse, coloured sands, shops, restaurant, glass blowing and chair lift to beach. The Needles is a must visit for any holiday and can be accessed by car with plenty of parking if you don't fancy the long walk up Tennyson.
