Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It is well located and we had a nice welcome from the host. Palmariggi is pretty central to closeby beaches and only 15min away from Ottranto. The room is spacious for a few nights and it was clean.

Negative: Very expensive for the amenities and comfort of the room. We paid 87 euros per night in high season (August) we are used to visiting the area but never had to pay so much. At least I dont mind paying if it matches the comfort you expect. The bed was not comfortable, and the handbasin tap is pretty bad. The shower was ok, only hot water in the afternoon/evening. Clogged water from day 2 in the shower, I guess it does not get cleaned very often but we didnt want to complain more. I say more as we had to complain from day 1 for the aircon. Having a baby travelling with us, we needed to make sure the aircon was functional. It took 24 hours to start cooling the room but it was very mild cold. I did not like the interaction with one of the host when we had to nicely complain about it. Maybe advertise 'italians only' if you are not going to be friendly with outsiders. Just my point of view here. Again mixed feelings about our stay.
