Welcome to the Tabernash Depot! This house was originally the town’s train depot. It has been moved away from the tracks, but keeps its character and has had plenty more added. We’ve created a crafty, cozy space where you’ll enjoy great views, the smell of a wood-burning fireplace, and room to enjoy quality time with your loved ones. We hope you enjoy our favorite spot to enjoy the mountains! Our home is 8 miles from Winter Park, a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, Granby Lake, and just steps or pedals away from great hiking, biking, and fishing.
The house includes a master bedroom & bath upstairs, a second bedroom & half bath downstairs, and big cozy couch. There is a washer & dryer for guests to use, as well as a fully-outfitted kitchen and grill outdoors. There’s a TV & DVD player; cable hasn’t made it to our county road yet, but we have lots of DVDs or bring a streaming device to connect to the internet. The house has DSL internet and good cell signal, so you can even stay connected while enjoying the beautiful Fraser Valley.
