Summary: Many thanks to Marilyne for her gracious hosting of our family. There was so much to love about this property. We were late coming in on our train/rental car, and they were so sweet to wait extra hours for us to arrive and personally show us in to the apartment, AND go the extra step of helping us with the (all-important!) wi-fi. It was hardly obvious there was any kind of language barrier at all. It was a rather hot week so we turned the AC on and it took a couple hours to cool down, but it was sure nice to have it!!! The beds are firm & bedding was nice. I do hope they can work to upgrade the pillows, as they were very flat. Maybe even offer a variety? All of the rooms get very dark and allow for very quiet, and peaceful sleeping in!! We used the kitchen quite extensively during our stay and had no issues. We found everything we needed with ease & were able to enjoy making coffee each morning and cooking light meals. We also came to appreciate the small common use items (olive oil, balsamic), sugar, salt, instant coffee packets, and a selection of incredible fruit jams. The living area was pretty small, but enough for our family of 4, especially with the sliding door open to the patio. By the way Marilyne, PLEASE add a few more pictures of the views you have...so beautiful!! There was also a nice luggage storage space downstairs to keep the living area less cluttered. The toilet is separate from the sink/shower. That turned out to be nice. Everything worked well in that regard. And the towel heating racks were awesome for bath towels & for drying a few hand washed items as needed. The pool area was exceptionally clean and folks from the neighbor were very kind and welcoming. They made a great effort to befriend us & help us with the pool rules :) We were surprised to have free laundry. The area was VERY clean & both the wash and dry machines worked well. We absolutely LOVED walking into town for breakfast, coffee and a nice morning stroll. It is the perfect distance to allow you to enjoy the uniqueness of the town, and live into it a bit. The town square was pretty small as well. A small market in town was sufficient for 4-5 days worth of groceries and everything we bought was fresh and delicious. I wish we had known about the street market on Saturday morning. It was from maybe 0700-1200, and we missed most of it. Extremely friendly corner of France. Awesome place to vacation, rest, relax & wander. Very pleasant stay, Mercí mercí!!
