The Space
You'll have the entire ground-floor to yourself in this penthouse-style corner duplex named Arthur House. Arthur House was built in 1924 and remodeled in 2003, transforming it into a comfortable open-concept home filled with unique characteristics and modern amenities while preserving its historic and original character.
The home is conveniently situated near downtown, the University of Minnesota, and the Mississippi River. Enjoy the expansive, open layout, along with the charming yard and the adjacent city park equipped with tennis and pickleball courts. Take advantage of complimentary Huffy cruiser bicycles for both men and women and venture out to explore the neighborhood. It's essential to note that while the apartment is entirely private, there is another private residence on the second floor.
Enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast outdoors on the deck, surrounded by the cheerful sounds of birds. It's elevated above street-level so you can take in the view of the neighborhood or enjoy an evening sunset. Perhaps you'll opt for a leisurely stroll or bike ride through the quiet streets of Northeast Minneapolis.
The apartment can accommodate Four (4) individuals with ease. However, I can furnish an inflatable twin-size air mattress to enable a comfortable sleeping arrangement for 5.

This is a non-smoking property. We kindly ask that you respect the private residence on the 2nd floor and refrain from smoking cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, or using vaporizers while staying at Arthur House.
GUESTS
Only registered guests are permitted to enter Arthur House during your stay. No events, parties or gatherings are allowed in the building.
THE CHECK-IN PROCESS
When you arrive, you can let yourself in using the keys that are in the lockbox; I will give you the code when you book your reservation.
THE BEDROOM
The bedroom offers ample storage space for clothes and personal items, and features a cozy king-sized Sleep Number i9 mattress decorated with numerous pillows and a down-alternative comforter. Bedside tables equipped with lamps, power outlets, and storage drawers are also provided. Additionally, the living room sofa is comfortable enough for one person to sleep on. If needed, I can supply a twin-sized self-inflating air mattress for a fourth person.
THE BATHROOM
In the full bathroom, you'll find a walk-in shower, sink, toilet with bidet, as well as plenty of fresh white towels and washcloths. Additionally, there's a hairdryer and complimentary shampoo/body wash provided. Another half bathroom also with a bidet is also available for your convenience.
THE KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything necessary for cooking or baking for yourself and your guest(s). It features a conventional/convection oven and gas range, a fridge, pots, pans, utensils, dishes, a dishwasher, an electric kettle, a toaster, and ample counter space. You'll find good knives along with a knife sharpener, and there's an island with seating for three. Right off the kitchen, a brand new private 10 x 12 deck awaits, equipped with patio seating for four and a table, making it an ideal spot for meals at any time of day.
THE DINING ROOM
The dining room is adorned with elegant columns that add a touch of sophistication to your dining experience. The space is located just off the kitchen and has room to comfortably seat six guests, providing an intimate setting for shared meals and memorable conversations. The ambiance is perfect for both casual breakfasts and formal dinners.
THE LIVING ROOM / SUN ROOM
In the spacious living room, you'll find an abundance of comfortable furniture, including a large sofa, two swivel-rocker chairs, a 78" daybed, and an ottoman that can transform the couch into a sectional. A TV credenza, a 42" smart TV with streaming apps, and a non-working fireplace add to the room's ambiance. For moments of relaxation or reading, the adjoining den is equipped with a rocking chair, an ottoman, and a skylight.
THE DECK / BACKYARD
Your private deck offers a personal outdoor shaded space until around 1 pm, followed by sun for the remaining hours of the day. In the evening, it transforms into an ideal spot to watch stunning Minnesota sunsets. You can access the yard below through the back staircase. The backyard, enveloped in the shade of nearby oak trees, creates a charming and tranquil setting for appreciating the peacefulness of nature.
FREE LAUNDRY
Feel free to use the washer and dryer located in the basement at any time; they are completely free of charge! 100% dye free and fragrance free laundry detergent is provided.
