Positive: We liked the history of the property It was a quirky and well presented Location was great for exploring and car park, a short walk, safe, easily accessible and affordable.
Negative: About the location - We felt a little deceived the property was not closer to Stratton house hotel and spa as advertised under the hotel and spa umbrella - we were at a wedding there and thought the property was on site or immediately off site. It was actually 1.5 miles away. A little too far in heels! Taxis need pre ordering. About the property- Water was cool, no clear instruction how to alter heat setting. This was disappointing and made us think twice about hair washing!! Another seat in the living room would have made for a slightly more comfortable stay for 6 adults. However, this didn’t disappoint us too much. 1 loo roll seemed a little tight, fortunately the property is on the high street and we arrived before shops closed. Comments not intended negatively but constructive suggestions for the future.
Summary: Perfect, suited all our needs for the weekend.
