Stowe Mountain View is warm and inviting, a perfect Vermont getaway surrounded by verdant forest, rural landscape, wildlife, water, and songbirds. Whether you want to heal or celebrate, this house is perfect for you. The park like setting with acres of Raspberries and Blackberries offers a commanding view of Mount Mansfield, Smuggler's Notch, Stowe Mountain Resort and Trapp Family Lodge, which will mesmerize you all day long as the clouds drift by, and the sun hits different angles before sinking slowly behind the ridge line, leaving you with one of the most amazing Vermont sunsets to be found anywhere. There is a crystal clear pond with floating dock to swim and cool off in during the summer, and a Hot Spring Grande hottub with moto massage jets to soak away the ski aches in the winter, or enjoy year round. A large stone fire pit completes the yard, and makes evenings roasting marshmallows under the stars all the more special.
This house features an open style main floor living area with cathedral ceilings, a wood fireplace, and huge windows that look out to the pond, yard, and mountains beyond. The living room boasts a 65” flat screen TV with Denon/Bose sound system for rainy nights, wireless internet, and a large sectional couch so you and your guests feel comfortable warming up by the fireplace or watching your favorite movie. The kitchen is open to the 8 person dining room with another wood burning fireplace, and equipment to satisfy a gourmet cook. This home has a spacious deck that offers spectacular mountain breezes, with a professional size grill. The primary bedroom on the main floor is very large, with a seating area and its own office, a king-size bed and five windows overlooking the backyard and mountains, with French doors opening onto the deck. The primary bath has a wonderful oversize Jacuzzi tub, separate enormous marble and glass rain shower with multiple heads, and a large vanity with double sinks, and separate beauty station. Another en-suite bedroom is located on the lower level with both a queen-size bed and a full-size bunk bed, and windows looking out to the pond and mountains. Two more bedrooms are located on the main and upper floors with Queen and King Beds, beautiful light and a balcony. A third marble and glass bathroom with oversize shower is also located on the main level. The separate laundry room contains the largest new front-loading washer and dryer made by Samsung. This wonderfully comfortable home can sleep up to 12 people. There is a car garage with direct access to a mud room with plenty of hooks and hangers for skis, boots, jackets, and helmets.
