The space
This home is located in a premiere neighborhood in Big Bear. It's close to everything you could want. It has a spacious open floor plan with large rooms, high ceilings, and lots of natural light. Games, spa, fire pit and a movie room! There's something for everyone.
Here are some of the highlights:
Great room: Gas stone fireplace, vaulted ceiling, shuffleboard, vintage arcade game with 60 games like PacMan, DonkeyKong, and Frogger, game table with connect four, checkers and backgammon, smart TV & large Alexa.
Kitchen: Stainless appliances, gas cooktop, granite countertops, trash compactor, dishwasher, microwave, fully stocked dishes, refrigerator has ice maker and filtered water, coffee maker/grinder with supplies.
Dining room: Large table seats 10. Great place to gather to eat, do puzzles, or play games on the removable padding. Looks out to the back deck.
All three bedrooms are on the main floor, with the master suite on one side of the main room and the other two bedrooms on the other side with a Jack and Jill bathroom between them. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap and all linens are provided. There is also a half bath on this level. The Loft can be accessed up stairs off of the main room and overlooks it.
Downstairs is the garage complete with darts and ping pong, and an EV charger. On this level is also a home theatre with 6 reclining leather movie theatre chairs. Sit back, relax and stream your favorite movie on our high speed internet without bothering the rest of the house with noise. Adults can be upstairs watching something or listening to music while kids are in the theater watching a movie.
Outdoor spaces: There are 3. The front deck has beautiful sunsets and mountain views. It's our favorite place to drink coffee or have an evening cocktail. The back deck has comfortable seating for 10, a Blackstone grill with propane, and a 4-6 person private spa with lights and jets. This is a great place to warm up after a day on the slopes. The backyard also has a separate fire table area to enjoy in non winter months. The back yard is very large, private, and completely fenced in. Our street is so quiet that you can enjoy the nature sounds in the day and the stars at night.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of a few locked storage closets where we keep supplies and linens.
Other things to note
Renter must be a minimum of 23 years old and be one of the guests who stay. TOTAL NUMBER OF ADULTS CANNOT 8 per city regulations!! Please do not “insta book” or inquire if your group has more than 8 adults as we cannot accommodate you. Thank you!!
Security Cameras:
We have security cameras in the front of the house, sides and on the backyard gate. They only record video, not audio, and there are NOT any in the house or on the back deck.
Removal of Trash:
The City of Big Bear Lake does not have a municipal trash removal service and therefore mandates that guests must remove their own trash. There are two local trash sites for you to drop off your trash before you leave town. Any bag left behind will be charged $15 to guest.
No Indoor Smoking, open outdoor fires, parties, or events of any kind in Big Bear vacation rentals are allowed, per city ordinance.
There is no street parking in Big Bear. We have a large driveway but city ordinance states there can only be 3-4 cars. But we also have a garage that an additional car can be parked in.
*Home Truths- Like most homes in Big Bear, this one has stairs and should only be rented by those willing and able to access a home with stairs. Also, true to many mountain homes, the driveway is sloped (but not super steep). During snow storms it will be plowed by a company when it reaches 4 inches or more.
Cars are never allowed to be parked in the street because they could block city snow plows.
Please be sure to carry chains at all times in winter months. They are required and you may be asked by highway patrol to show them. We don't want you to have any surprises. Guests are responsible to check road conditions and the weather forecast before they drive up the mountain. Cal Trans or Bens Weather usually have current and helpful information.
Summer renters...please note that our home does not have AC, as most homes in Big Bear Lake do not. It is well insulated, has multiple ceiling and floor fans though and usually has a nice breeze.
And finally power outages sometimes occur in Big Bear. We are not responsible for these types of citywide problems. Take the opportunity to unplug and enjoy family and peace.
