This 3 bedroom (plus study with sofa bed), 2 bathroom home is the perfect place for your Noosa getaway. Situated only 5 minutes walk from Gympie Terrace and Noosa River, this warm and welcoming one level home is sure to become your home away from home! Features include an open plan, fully-equipped kitchen, living and dining area, separate media room with huge flat screen TV, study with printer and monitor, covered car port, full laundry, huge outdoor area with covered deck, BBQ, and fire pit.
The Sands is made for families to enjoy because we know first hand that if the kids are happy, the parents are happy!
There's a separate media and play room for the kids (big kids too!) with toys, games and even a mini ride-on electric Vespa! In the fully-fenced back garden there is a small paddling pool, outdoor shower and hose (for some wet play) as well as a bike, trike, scooter and chalk board.
In addition there is free use of a baby change table and high chair included (cot available for hire at small additional cost).
Our space would perfectly suit two families or one large extended family holidaying together, with enough space to all hang out together, or to have your own space in different areas of the house.
We have styled the house so the kitchen/dining/living area is very "parent friendly" with comfy chairs, bar stools and a drinks cabinet. However this is adjacent to the "kids/media room" so you can easily keep an eye (or ear!) on the younger members of the family whilst they play with the variety of fun activities for all ages.
The beautiful outdoor area has BBQ and outdoor dining with some sun loungers for soaking up the all-day sun. You can easily keep an eye on the kids from here too.
The office is also fully setup for those lucky enough to work remotely. It includes a printer, scanner, laminator, shredder, white board, stationery and full screen monitor that can be plugged into your laptop. This is also a handy space for online gaming if you have teenagers into that. The sofabed is also pretty comfy and includes a spring and memory foam mattress.
The master bedroom has a huge super comfy king bed, with an ensuite and an outdoor patio (perfect if you need a breather from the kids as it is the opposite side of the house from the back garden).
The queen room also has a lovely high-quality mattress and solid wooden frame, with plenty of space in the built-in wardrobe for your bags.
The kids bedroom includes two low beds so need to worry about them falling out of high bunk beds. Plus a funky lava lamp, 'cos who doesn't love a lava lamp?! This room can also be set up as a king bed with advance notice.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a food processor, nutri-bullet, and cake and muffin tins for those wanting to do a bit of baking. It also has a Nespresso machine with milk-frother for those who can't wait for the short walk to the river for their morning caffeine hit!
